Luck of the Irish

Despite several inches on snow on our front yard, the weather today felt like spring. It was in the low 50's and I enjoyed a nice walk outside at lunch time. Everyone is ready for some green grass and flowers.

The babies donned their best green to pose for some March photos. I made a new desktop calendar from Heather Ann Designs. I like how spring-y the colors are.

Charlie is really getting good at hogging the spotlight. As soon as the camera comes out, he puts on a big smile.
The babies are a little behind where Ella was at 6 months. She was sitting up by herself and starting to crawl backward. Thankfully, they haven't started moving yet! They are getting close to sitting up, but still topple over. We keep expecting them to start talking to each other, but that hasn't happened yet. Greta will start talking at about 6:30 and when I go see her, Charlie is usually awake too. They usually don't cry in the morning unless they are really hungry. They have settled into the same routine that Ella adopted - sleeping from 7 to 7. Since they aren't awake much after work, I try to spend time with them in the morning too. After they eat, they really like to explore, roll on the ground and talk.

The babies are going through so many outfits these days because they keep getting food all over themselves. I had forgotten about this phase! Tomorrow is picture day at school, so hopefully they will hold off feeding the babies until after the photo shoot!

Charlie's true feelings come out.
