It's been quite the busy weekend. We ran a bunch of errands yesterday & finally found bigger carseats for the twins. I can't ride in Nick's car until the twins are big enough to face forward. But, at least we found three carseats that will fit in the back seat. It's been a week of sickness. After their check-up, Charlie & Greta got sequential ear infections. Lots of time was spent in the doctor's office this weekend. Last night, we had dinner group at our friends Denny & Lora's house. We had a great time - I am glad we didn't host an outdoor party this year, everyone else's gardens look amazing!

Today, we took the kids to IKEA while Nick went golfing. I had the diaper bag packed, but completely forgot to bring a stroller or carrier. They have strollers that the twins would ride in for about 10 minutes at a time. Luckily, there were plenty of hands to help! We spent about 2 hours shopping & probably could have spent more time. Ella played in the kids area for about 1/2 the time. All was good until I showed up. She apparently jumped on top of a piece of glass in the ball pit. The workers weren't that helpful & I think we will still have to take her to the emergency room tomorrow to make sure it is all out. Our neighbor is an ER pediatric doctor & said we could soak her foot & wait until morning (or spend all night waiting to be seen). She was so proud that she was brave & didn't cry.

I realized when we got to the store, Greta was wearing pants that were too small. She seems much happier now that we have released her!
