On Saturday night, Jessica, Kevin & Nicole watched the kids while Nick & I went to my work Christmas Party. The event was in a beautiful room at the Grand America Hotel. It was a busy night for parties - supposedly 8,000 people were celebrating at the hotel. While Nick & I were buffeting, Jessica, Nicole & Ella were busy. They baked cupcakes & worked on some surprise gifts. We enjoyed the cupcakes Sunday night for dessert. Everyone except Charlie thought they were delicious! Ella was covered in cupcake crumbs!
We had a great, busy day. We started the morning at the zoo with Breakfast with Santa. Then, we took everyone sledding. The twins wouldn't wear their gloves & were impatient that they couldn't sled every time Ella came down the hill. I think we will be investing in another sled soon. Jessica, Nicole & I did some shopping & then came home exhausted!
