Spring weather finally arrived this weekend. Nick had the kids most of Saturday while I worked at Ella's school library. We did walk 3 miles with Jessica (she did 18) in the morning & the kids did well in the stroller. On Sunday, I walked with Jessica to her house - 8 miles exactly. We were much slower than race day. I never realized how important good socks are when walking and I think Jessica was feeling her walk from yesterday.
After a super-fun afternoon birthday party, we met up with our good friends John & Rashelle for a picnic at the nearby school. Their daughter McCall is just the cutest thing ever. She's going to be an early walker - trying her best to keep up with the big kids. It was a great end to the weekend. Absolutely perfect weather. Nick took over camera duty tonight, though I couldn't resist snapping one cute one of McCall.
