There isn't a whole lot to do in Steamboat in the off-season. There was a Carnival within walking distance of our hotel. Several of my colleagues couldn't avoid the temptation. What I would have done for a tripod! Such amazing colors & lights! It was fun to take a few pictures before we went to go hear live music downtown. When Ella saw these pictures, she did not hesitate to hide her displeasure - and I agree, it was unfair that she didn't get to come along.
In happier news, she was very pleased to discover the note from the tooth fairy and six shiny quarters last week. It all went to school for show & tell.
