This summer has been a crash course in tween pop culture. Ella has learned SO MUCH at camp. One day she excitedly told me that she had learned a really cool new game that she wanted to play with Greta. It's called Rock, Paper, Scissors. It took Ella about 5 minutes to discover the reason she was losing - Greta isn't the savvy player Ella thought, she only known how to pick Rock.

We are curious what new social discoveries she'll make in first grade - we escaped the High School Musical craze, but I don't know we'll be so lucky next time.
