It can be fun exploring a new town. And, while we are disappointed that we haven't found our go-to breakfast spot (that doesn't break the bank), Nick found a fabulous little locally owned donut shop - Duke City Donuts.
It's a dangerous shop to visit - too many temptations! I loved the toasted coconut donut. The twins loved the sprinkles while Ella is a true-blue glazed donut girl. Nick said the maple with bacon donuts (available on Friday/Saturday) are the first to go with his work crowd. Which isn't surprising since these are the same people who hosted an all-bacon party.
If you are in the mood for a tasty donut, look no further! By the time we arrived, many flavors were already gone (with fresh ones almost ready to be iced). I can't wait to try some of the other varieties - cinnamon rolls on Friday/Saturday, three lemon choices on Wednesdays. I think I'm going to have to increase my workouts to keep up!
