Before the Olympic hoopla passed, there was talk of a runner who was pretty fast.
Ella was not as impressed with Usain Bolt as the rest of the world.
If he ran 100 meters in under 10 seconds, she was pretty sure she could do it in 15.
And so we took to the track. 100 meters looks farther in real life than on TV.
Nick was determined to beat the under 4 foot crowd.
He had a run for his money.
We've got some runners in our family. Ella was only a second behind Nick. A little growing, some training & learning how to use the starting block . . . we are going to have some competitive runners.
Greta & Charlie showed great promise at runners too (though Charlie said he prefers the 1500 meter event - you know, because he has run so many miles before).
