Over the River

Last weekend, we made a much overdue trip to see Grandma & Grandpa.

There were slumber parties
and bright lights. Little friends and favorite haunts. Lingering holiday decorations,
pretty flowers
and lots of cacti.
We made time for boy scout projects,
football practice,
swim time

and park time.  It was a fun {chilly} weekend but now its back to real life.
