Nick & Ella heard Hogan barking & "tracking" something in our sideyard. They found a family of quail. The babies froze when they heard everyone approaching. Hoagie thought they looked like tasty little hushpuppies, so Nick quarantined Hogan. The family moved to the backyard - they chicks blend in with the leaves, but there are three hovering in the corner that you can see if you look closely. We are keeping Hogan out of the backyard until the birds are old enough to fend him off (or at least fly away).
