Monkey Business

I got out of work a bit early today & had the crazy idea that it would be fun to take everyone to the park. Hogan kept barking because I forgot his frisbee. Ella was scurrying up equipment that just yesterday (or so it seems) required Dad's height for proper supervision. She seemed so confident scaling up the equipment that I tried not to worry.
But the twins. Oh my. I am not sure we will be able to have many park days without an extra set of hands. Charlie LOVES the slide. He kept trying to climb up & giggled while Ella & I helped him down. I could easily spot his efforts while Greta wandered around in the grass. But, she finally caught on that Charlie was having fun. Charlie put up a good fight, but ultimately conceded the slide to Greta. Unfortunately, he realized another slide was just around the corner. I could not watch Charlie (who took a few soft tumbles) & Greta (who decided to try to walk & stand (no hands) on the slide) on opposite ends of the equipment at the same time. I packed everyone up, let Ella have a few turns on the bigger equipment & called it a night.
