Despite gloomy weather, the kids had so much fun with Grandma & Grandpa. This is my favorite group shot of the weekend. It stopped raining enough on Sunday to make a dash (our only one this trip) to the playground. Grandma brought a towel along & dried off the slides for the kids. The kids were running & laughing & burning off energy. Right before we left, we snapped one pic (and then Charlie was done). Ella was very sad to leave. The twins loved that they could open all the doors at Grandma's (thank goodness she had the backyard fenced recently). We would look around & the twins would be on the back porch sitting in the chairs, shooting the breeze. They also loved that they could flush the toilets at Grandma's. Ella loves that she gets to sleep in Grandma & Grandpa's room on a futon.
