On Friday the weather was so crummy so we loaded up the mini van & headed for West Yellowstone. We had a GREAT visit. It rained (and hailed) while we drove & the sun occasionally came out when we got out to explore. We saw an unbelievable amount of animals - bison, elk, bald eagle, osprey, raven, and "munkchips". The kids loved checking off the animals on their guide sheets. But, the biggest squeals were saved for the really cool spotting -
MOMMY!! SCHOOL BUSES! I SEE FIVE OF THEM! RIGHT THERE!
On Sunday, we took the long way through the park on the way home & only saw a fraction of what we saw on Friday, but a coyote ran in front of our car which was really neat to see. We also saw lots of baby animals which was really fun!
