Because of our crazy schedule over the next 6 weeks, we had Greta & Charlie's birthday party a little early. Charlie is a little obsessed with all cars & especially fire engines these days, so we were thrilled when the local fire department was able to give a safety demonstration at the party.
Most of the kids had fun working the fire hoses (used for brush fires). We invited the neighbors to join us for pizza & cake (Eli wasn't too thrilled to be hanging out with such young kids).
The fire department did a great presentation & I was amazed at how long the kids paid attention.
