Today has been a much happier day for Charlie. I hope the worst of the pain has passed. He's been such a trooper. My silent shadow follows me. I know he's there when I go to do something & see that a little body has beaten me to it - giving the dry cleaning to the employees, returning library books, giving Hogan treats - I announce what I will do & my little fairy goes into action. He's anxious to go pick up his sisters & return to school. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
