Last Supper

Graduation weekend we had a fancy dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant with some of Nick's study groupies.

Ella was invited & put on her Sunday best for the big night. It was such a fancy night, she was even allowed to order Sprite with dinner.

There were many toasts to the graduates (do you think they look proud of Nick?).

Lots of great stories.

Family from across the country.

Amazing food & wine. Lots of it.

Ella liked the chocolate & biscotti for dessert.

Our host (the manager) is an incredibly charismatic man.

Flora said there was only one thing that kept it from being a perfect evening.

Learning that the Jazz lost a very close playoff game - TO THE LAKERS. Grandma's a bit of a Utah Jazz fan. Good thing she had her back to the windows & didn't have to watch all the happy Lakers fans celebrating.

At least the chocolate & dessert wine helped ease the pain a little.
