Paella always reminds me of my summer as a law student in Spain. We took a weekend trip to Alicante & ate paella from a street vendor. I wouldn't necessarily recommend that, but I remember how beautiful the dish was - bold flavors & fabulous seafood (though it was the first time I was served a full calamari).
This dish was good, but not authentic. We'll still make it again - especially on a cold night. It was a bit time consuming though - make sure you prepare all the ingredients before you start cooking.
