TWO MONTHS!

GRETA

CHARLIE

The babies had their two month appointment yesterday - Charlie is 10.06 pounds & 21.75 inches. Greta is 9.06 pounds & 20.75 inches which means both babies are in about the 5% for height & weight. I think Nick's fantasy of talking to one of his children without getting a crick in his neck is quickly fading! The important thing is that the babies are healthy & happy (and slept through the night last night!!) Posted by Picasa

Ella's Halloween Parade

Either Sammy or Morgan (we are glad we have boy/girl twins)

Ella & Charlotte

Nick met me & the babies at school for Ella's parade. All of the kids parade around the block (with as many parents as can attend) in their costumes. It was a cold morning! The high will be 50 today, so Ella's trick or treating might take place early tonight. She has been so excited about Halloween & their pizza party today. She was very disappointed when I told her trick or treating doesn't take place until after the second snack of the day ("but, Mom, that's too long.")Posted by Picasa

Pumpkin Carving!

We had a fun weekend. Ella got a cool Halloween card from her cousin Selena. We were all so impressed with her artwork. On Saturday, she went to her friend Annan's birthday party & then Nick took the whole crew shopping for ovens while I worked. Hogan even had two play dates. The weekend was capped off by pumpkin carving. Nick & Ella drilled her name in the bottom pumpkin. They are both excited to get a photo of their masterpieces at dark! Posted by Picasa

Costume Party

Suri Cruise & decoy

While Ella & Jessica went to Garden After Dark with the Kopp's, Nick & I took the twins to a costume party. Our friend Jane is known for having the most amazing Halloween decorations & her party did not disappoint. The food, company & atmosphere was marvelous! We went as Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes. We didn't look that impressive & Nick's $4 wig didn't do Katie justice. But, our accessories were the hit of the party. Suri Cruise never looked so cute.

Snow!

We had our first real snow last night. It is supposed to be 60 by the weekend again. Hopefully, it will stay warm for Halloween. Posted by Picasa

Garden After Dark

Greta slept through the entire event, but Charlie came out to dance with the drums. Posted by Picasa

Garden After Dark

We took the family to Garden After Dark at Red Butte Garden this weekend. Ella was thrilled to run into her friend Hope. They painted their own faces, made Dinosaur tail hats, listened to a talking drum performance and had a lot of fun walking through the black lights in the ghost alley.

Charlie & Ella Posted by Picasa

Seven Weeks Old

The babies have been eating every 2 hours which makes it very hard to get anything done between feedings. Charlie has been pounding the food, so we'll see how much bigger he is than Greta at their next appointment.

Greta is slowly starting to smile at us, but we haven't captured a good one on camera yet. Posted by Picasa

Anatomy of a Halloween Photo

Well, we tried to get a Halloween photo of the kids, but we encountered some angry bears.

We tried a little snack break.

But, our chicken lost her smile.

Depending on the weather, we will take Ella to Garden After Dark next week and try the photos again. I think this is the last year Ella will be an animal. She keeps asking if she can be a princess, cheerleader or ballerina for the next Halloween. Posted by Picasa
