Ella & I took advantage of the beautiful weather on Sunday. She played with her friend Carson, helped him paint his pumpkin & played at the park. He was a great host & the two got along perfectly. It started raining on the way home tonight & the temperature has dropped significantly. The mountains will be dusted in snow in the morning. Hogan is loving the change in the weather and wanted to sit outside in the rain. I moved him to the side porch so he wouldn't get wet. I was hoping the warmer weather would hold through the weekend, but it doesn't look like that will happen.
Ella had a great time celebrating Nick's birthday tonight. The ice cream cake I picked up was a hit with both Nick & Ella. It was nice to see that they sell the cakes in small sizes now - the one we had was just big enough for leftovers for Nick. Ella's chili was a hit with the cold weather.
