The Great White West

The spell check on blogger has been non-functioning for a week. I am so dependent on auto-check. I apologize for any errors you find.

It was so sunny today that it looked nice enough to take the twins out for a bit. But, it was deceiving! It was cold! Charlie didn't keep his mittens on & was not a happy little boy, but he survived. They were so happy to be out for a bit.

The afternoon teacher said that Charlie & Greta have fun, but they take toys from each other a lot. Charlie still cries when I leave him at daycare, but he also looked annoyed when I picked him up. He was pushing a toy vacuum all over the place this afternoon. Greta was crying because her teacher took something away from her (she has an unhealthy obsession with tasting crayons). She was tired & kept saying "night night." They didn't undestand her. That broke my heart. She ran into her classroom before we left & grabbed her night night for the long trip home. As you can see, I'm not making much progress in the paci department. Oh well. It's been a tough week for us all.

Nick left a bit early tonight & took Ella to ice skating. He was very impressed with all the progress she has made.

Jessica & Kevin had a VERY big week. Kevin accepted a new fancy-schamncy job with the Utah Symphony. He went through an amazing round of interviews. We are so proud & thrilled for him for several reasons - the most selfish being that they'll be sticking around Utah longer than we expected. Jessica was also handsomely rewarded for her excellence at work with an all expenses-paid trip for two to Jamaica. They celebrated by {finally} ordering cable.
