Sometimes our day to day lives seem a bit boring and predictable. It's easy to forget how many little things make a big impression in our day. My recent work trip was a long one with long hours. It's amazing what you can miss in 10 days:
My baby turning 8. Nick put Tango on our phones so I could watch her blow out her candles. She saved me a piece of chocolate cake.
A doctors appointment. One round of antibiotics and a dance party.
Bumps, bruises and scrapes and an excellent back story.
The first ride on the birthday skateboard.
Ella's treasures from the school flea market.
This face first thing in the morning.
Thank goodness Dad took so many photos. It feels good to be home again. Back to making my list of all the little things in my day that bring a smile to my face.
