The first time they slept with their PJ's backward & a spoon under their pillow, they woke up to this. And, they rejoiced.
For New Mexico, this is a mega snow storm (yes, they still miss the Utah mountain snow).![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipydlHHLSeJvtsq9QmT7BJ4SKRPQz6YrIqdHh_KbMobR_fn-B0jYVygP41xd1uc59G_BGx0JIAL_QVH0cdvtuGLGJX91I4YEA2bK9YtNQgnrNlNVnWQzq3V60hY2g_zCFny2OS6g/s640/_DSC6898.jpg)
The second night they slept with their PJ's backward & a spoon under their pillow, they awoke to a snow day (it's a New Mexico thing). They felt a magical connection to Mother Nature.
Now, they eat waffles for breakfast because it's easier than trying to look through everyone's sheets to find our missing spoons.
It's a milestone day here. Playing hooky & heading out to Santa Fe for a rare night away.
